Interior Fashion is a family-run curtain making and window treatment company based near Olney in North Buckinghamshire. We design and hand-make bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for homes across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, working regularly in Olney, Newport Pagnell, Bedford and Milton Keynes.
With over 25 years’ experience, we create made to measure window treatments that balance style and practicality. From your first consultation through to installation, we manage the entire process in-house. We are curtain makers rather than interior designers, which means our focus is on craftsmanship, precision and finish.
Interior Fashion was founded by Anne-Marie, whose lifelong passion for fabric and sewing led her to study Textiles at Nottingham Trent University, graduating with a BA Honours degree. She went on to work at Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers in New Bond Street, London, specialising in antique textiles, costume, lace and fans.
After starting a family, Anne-Marie established Interior Fashion to continue her work with fabric while offering a more personal, home-based service. Today, Interior Fashion remains a family business. Anne-Marie’s husband, William, specialises in the installation of poles, tracks and pelmets, and also supplies and fits plantation shutters, specialist blinds including electric blinds, and roof shade sails.
We offer a fully bespoke soft furnishing service for your home, creating made to measure curtains and blinds designed specifically for your space. Unlike online retailers or high-street suppliers, we visit your home to take accurate measurements, discuss your ideas and advise on what will work best both visually and practically.
We supply a complete range of products, including fabrics, trimmings, poles, tracks, hand-made pelmets, tie backs, cushions and coordinating accessories. If you already have fabric, we are equally happy to work with materials you have sourced yourself.
Once your curtains or blinds are complete, we return to install them professionally. We are fully insured and have the experience and equipment needed to ensure a smooth, tidy and well-finished result.
We work from our purpose-built sewing room near Olney in North Buckinghamshire and enjoy working closely with local homeowners across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. While much of our work is close to home, projects can also take us further afield, including London, the Cotswolds, Devon and Cornwall, and occasionally overseas to Europe, the United States and the Hamptons.
If you would like to arrange an at-home consultation, please get in touch. We can take care of measuring, help with fabric and design choices, and supply and fit all required hardware, or install items you already have. The final visit to hang and dress your new curtains and blinds is often the most rewarding part, and we make sure everything is finished exactly as you envisaged.
